1st Meeting - Our Tribute to Studio Ghibli

Hello anime fans! I am proud to announce that our first meeting of the Fall 2014 Semester will be on Thursday October 2, 2014  2:00PM. The location will be at the Harleigh B. Trecker Library's Upstairs Group Study Room (the one with carpet).

As you may have heard Studio Ghibli’s director Hayao Miyazaki has once again announced his retirement. Due to this circumstance the studio is temporarily halting productions. Studio Ghibli is responsible for many award winning animated films such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Panyo, and much more.

You as the members of the UConn Greater Hartford Anime Club are going to vote on which movies will be screened on a poll located on our official Facebook page.
We will be screening the first hour (or half hour) of a Ghibli film during anime club. After the club meeting online links to the movie will be available on this site.
