Anime Jeopardy Event

Greetings Anime Fans!

Do you know your Anime?

The Anime Club will be hosting an Anime Jeopardy Event Thursday, December 4,

2014 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the library building upstairs in the Group

Study Area.

 

Questions will be about a variety of different Anime, prizes will be given

to the winners.

Light refreshments will be served.

Come out and join us for some anime fun!

The Devil is a Part-Timer!

Thank you to everyone who attended. This weeks screening was suggested by our own Secretary Salma. 

We screened “The Devil is a Part-Timer!" a new anime released in english this year directed by Naoto Hosoda and Dubed by Funimation.

Naruto: The Last Movie and Last Chapter

Hello anime fans, as many of you know the last two chapters of Naruto the manga were release today, the Chapter 699 included an ending to the final arc and Chapter 700 is an epilog to the series.

In other Naruto news the "Naruto: The Last" is set to air in Japan on December 6, 2014. "Kishimoto-sensei says the manga and movie are connected, and because that is the case the manga should be read to completion first. However, even if one hasn’t finished the manga it’s alright! He continues on mentioning that he’s going to be blunt and say the movie is about love! There hasn’t been a movie with a romantic theme thus far so he hopes fans will enjoy the experience."

Halloween Event Party!

Hello Anime Fans…and everyone who attends UCONN!

The University of Connecticut Greater Hartford Anime Club is hosting a Halloween Anime themed party, open to everyone (not just anime club members).

We will be screening two Halloween themed anime.

This party is to encourage everyone to get involved in anime club and celebrate the month of October.

Sword of the Stranger

We screened “Sword of the Stranger" 2007 anime film directed by Masahiro Andō and produced by Bones.
